About Me
I've always liked photography... Since I was introduced to it way back in freshman college, when my dad turned-over his SLR, a Nikon FG, and a whole bunch of lenses to me, I have been occassionally shooting for fun. It was quite an expensive hobby back then, as I had to buy film and have it developed (I later discovered that it was cheaper to do contact prints) at my measly P25/day allowance back in 1984.
At the turn of the century, after discovering that all my old lenses have all been grossly 'fungified', I decided to try digital photography with a Sony DSC F707 prosumer digital camera (a point and shoot). I discovered the ease of digital photography, being able to immediately see your shots right out of the camera. The F707 offered some degree of creativity, with a modest Manual mode.
It wasn't until I met some friends at Fortuner Club Philippines that I was again bit by the shutterbug. I got my first DSLR, a Canon EOS 400D at the PhotoWorld Manila last February 2007. And, finally upgraded to a Canon EOS 40D during the launch at the Blue Leaf last September 2007.
The rest is history... in the making...
